“Elish and the Wicker Tale” is a comic book, created by the artist Timur Akhmedjanov, based on the story of the writer Kamran Salayev, it tells about a boy named Elish, who throughout storyline has faced misunderstandings from other people.
Elish is silent and unsociable, his favorite pastime is weaving, but those around him consider it a “useless” occupation. One day, his father takes Elish and his siblings on a fishing trip, which did not attract him in any way. Out of boredom, he weaves a basket, but it is thrown into the lake, which only irritates his father, who did not like that it only scared off all the fish. However, with the development of story, the Elish’s weaving came in handy: with the help of his basket they managed to catch a fish, and then to help out the rider by weaving a bridle for his horse, who they met on a fishing trip. And only then, for the first time, Elish’s father speaks positively about his son’s hobby.
At first glance, it seems that the story is simple, there is the main character who is faced with rejection and condemnation, but he still remains true to his interests and, in the end, he manages to overcome his problems. However, there is still a deep meaning inside this story, namely in the main character. Elish is a collected image of the so-called “strange children”, children with socialization problems, children with autism. The world around him is alien and incomprehensible to Elish, or rather his concept of the world is alien to others, and this is the real problem.
Society creates its own criteria of happiness and lifestyle, but people are all unique, what suits one person may not always suit another. Instead of creating standards, people should learn to accept and try to understand those who are already having a hard time. I think this is the whole moral of this story.
It is necessary to understand that there are no “strange” children, but there are all different, and books such as “Elish and the Wicker Tale” do an excellent job of clearly showing the world through the eyes of children like Elish.
“Илиш и плетeная история” — это комикс, созданный художником Тимуром Ахмеджановым, на основе истории писателя Камрана Салаева, повествует о мальчике по имени Илиш, который на протяжении всей истории сталкивается с недопониманием со стороны окружающих.
Илиш молчалив и нелюдим, его любимым занятием является плетение, но окружающие считают это «бесполезным» занятием. Однажды, отец берет Илиша и его брата с сестрой на рыбалку, которая никак его не привлекала. От скуки он плетет корзину, но ее выбрасывают в озеро, что только вызывает раздражение отца, которому не понравилось что это лишь распугало всю рыбу. Однако, с развитием истории, плетение Илиша пришлось всем на руку: с помощью этой корзины им удалось выловить рыбу, а потом и вовсе выручить всадника, встретившегося им на рыбалке, сплетя уздечку для его коня. И только тогда отец Илиша в первый раз положительно отзывается о любимом занятии сына.
На первый взгляд кажется, что история проста, есть главный герой который сталкивается с неприятием и осуждением, но он все же остается верен своим интересам и по ходу развития сюжета ему удается преодолеть свои проблемы. Однако, в этой истории все же скрывается глубокий смысл, а именно в главном герое. Илиш — это собранный образ так называемых «странных детей», детей с проблемой социализации, детей аутистов. Окружающий мир чужд и непонятен для Илиша, вернее его понятие мира чуждо для других, и в этом и заключается вся проблема.
Общество создает свои мерила счастья и образа жизни, но люди все уникальны, то что подойдет одному, не всегда подойдет другому. Вместо того чтобы создавать стандарты, люди должны научиться принимать и пытаться понять тех, кому и так приходится не легко. Думаю в этом и заключается вся мораль этой истории.
Нужно понять то, что нету детей «странных», но есть дети разные, и такие книги как “Илиш и плетёные истории” делают отличную работу доходчиво показывая мир глазами таких детей как Илиш.
